The Itinerary
Day Start
1. Valley of the Kings Step into the ancient burial ground of Egypt’s New Kingdom pharaohs. The Valley of the Kings is known for its rock-cut tombs, decorated chambers, and scenes from ancient Egyptian beliefs about the afterlife. Your visit offers a closer look at how royal tombs were designed to protect and honour the dead.

2. Temple of Hatshepsut Set against the limestone cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, the Temple of Hatshepsut stands out for its terraces, colonnades, and carefully planned design. Dedicated to one of ancient Egypt’s most notable female rulers, the temple offers insight into her reign and the religious traditions of the period.

3. Colossi of Memnon Pause beside the two monumental statues of Amenhotep III. These surviving figures once stood in front of his vast mortuary temple and remain among the most recognizable landmarks on Luxor’s West Bank.

4. Karnak Temple Continue to Karnak, an extensive temple complex developed over many centuries by successive rulers. Walk among its monumental gateways, obelisks, and towering columns, including the famous Great Hypostyle Hall, where rows of carved sandstone columns reveal the scale and skill of ancient Egyptian builders.

5. Luxor Temple Finish your sightseeing at Luxor Temple, located in the heart of the modern city. Its monumental entrance, statues, and colonnades reflect the importance of royal ceremonies and religious festivals in ancient Thebes. Together with Karnak, it helps tell the story of the city’s religious and political life.
